Childless and bored

So I am sitting in front of the computer tonight mostly because for the first time ever, BOTH my children are sleeping over their father's house. I am bored and don't know what to do with myself. Have you ever noticed that? As a parent, you pray and hope for just one minute of peace and quiet and then when you finally have it, you don't really know what to do with it. You think of all the things you could do if only you had that one minute of silence. And then for one shining moment you have it, so you hold on to it and by the time you realize what exactly you are holding, it has slipped away from you. Gone forever just like the dinosaurs. You can't get it back. But that doesn't stop most of us from lamenting about it, or wishing for another moment just like it. So, in the spirit of "I'm doing this" I have decided to continue working on one of the novels I have started. I will also be starting a new one soon. It will be epic if it comes out right. Any of you writers out there? Any of you have any "whoo-saaa" techniques you would like to share? Something to get your head out of the everywhere and into the right here. I'll take them all. I know this is much shorter than my other posts but I have remembered a website I want to give my undivided attention. I'll write again later. Until then,
